Shop Success on Iconic London High Street

It's onwards and upwards for Jin Designs after a successful week in a very special PopUp Shop on King's Road, London. Time was spent showcasing and selling products to the people of London. It was a fantastic opportunity and the first ever experience on the British High Street for Designer Jinny and her collection of products. PopUp Shop Display Jin Designs was given a fabulous dresser and a table, kindly donated by PopUp Britain sponsors, John Lewis. With the help of the Jin Designs' Visual Merchandiser, Raine Pavey-Dorn, Jinny and Raine set about transforming the space into a retail shop. PopUp Shop Before Before PopUp Shop After After Bestsellers of the week were both cat collections - Sitting Cat and Sleeping Cat, followed by the Couples Collection. Posh and Common mug set proved a very popular purchase down the King's Road. Couples Collection - Fine Bone China Mugs The Vintage Sayings tea towels were also purchased by a number of customers, with the most popular being No Spring Chicken. Who says Londoners don't have a sense of humour? These tea towels were flying out the door! PopUp Vintage Sayings So all in all it was a week that will go down as a very special event in the Jin Designs History Book. A chance on the King's Road doesn't come often in life and it will be one to remember. Jinny commented "It was a truly fantastic few days in the shop. I've learnt a great deal from my high street retail experience. I met some lovely customers and received lots of positive feedback and support." Even the Metropolitan Police enjoyed the products. These law abiding officers loved the Hers and His fine bone china mug set. Met Police in PopUp With 9 other brands also taking part in the PopUp Shop, it was a chance to meet other business owners, share ideas and work together to make it a successful week. "What a fabulous bunch of entrepreneurs" Jinny said. "We all worked together and learnt from each other and it was great to be involved with other designers and owners. I wish them every success in the future and I'm sure our PopUp will be the stepping stone to lots of success for us all." So what next for Jin Designs? There will be more PopUps and more opportunities for customers to buy offline and online. Jinny is currently looking at venues in Brighton, London and the surrounding areas. She is also in talks with several retailers in order to expand the places to buy Jin Designs products. Thanks to everyone who came to visit the PopUp Shop on King's Road, and for all the support on Facebook and Twitter. It's really appreciated.
