Please note:
FOR EU CUSTOMERS:

Customers are responsible for the payment of any local import duties for overseas delivery on receipt of the parcel.

For European and international customers (EU, AU, CA & USA) taxes and duties are excluded in the total price you have paid and your order will be shipped Delivery Duties Unpaid (DDU). You may be liable to pay import duties/local taxes. This tax is not collected by Jin Designs - it will be a local customs charge that applies when your order arrives in your country.

Who collects the tariff?
The fee is imposed by the recipient's customs and border control and is not included in your purchase with us.

How do I pay it?
Once your order arrives in the EU country you have sent it to, your shipping carrier (e.g., DHL) will contact you with instructions on how to pay the tax before they deliver your order.

Does this apply to all orders?
Yes. All shipments from the UK to EU are subject to import taxes.

What happens if I refuse to pay the tax?
If you choose not to pay the tax, your order won’t be delivered and will be considered forfeited. Unfortunately, Jin Designs is unable to issue refunds or accept returns on refused EU shipments as they won’t be sent back to us.

By placing an order, EU customers acknowledge that they are responsible for paying any required customs duties and understand that refusing to pay will mean their order is lost without a refund.

Please note if you are sending a gift, an Import Duty or a Formal Customs Entry Fee may have to be paid by the recipient on, or prior to, delivery.

FOR INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS

For international customers (AU, CA & USA) taxes and duties are excluded in the total price you have paid and your order will be shipped Delivery Duties Unpaid (DDU). You may be liable to pay import duties/local taxes. This tax is not collected by Jin Designs - it will be a local customs charge that applies when your order arrives in your country.

For all international destinations (Outside the EU, Australia, Canada and USA) there may be customs or import duties and taxes levied once the package reaches your destination country which will be your responsibility as we have no control over these charges and cannot predict them. Please contact your local customs office for further information if required. Check your country’s standard VAT rate here

It is a legal requirement that we declare the full value of the products (not including shipping charges) on all packages dispatched for delivery.

You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the country for which the products are destined.

Please note if you are sending a gift, an Import Duty or a Formal Customs Entry Fee may have to be paid by the recipient on, or prior to, delivery.
