Before we say goodbye to 2024, I wanted to take a look back and reflect on what's happened this last year. This year has been one of the hardest for Jin Designs financially. Rising costs from manufacturers, combined with a tough economic climate and reduced spending, have made things challenging, to say the least!

Despite that, there have been a lot of positives to celebrate. Firstly, you're still here reading this. Secondly, we made a big donation. And finally, it makes me extremely grateful to see you enjoy the new designs and additions this year. Here's some of the highlights...

2024 Highlights

A Limited Edition

A rare chance to enjoy two bestselling Jin Cats together. This Two Cats Together design was a real hit with customers.

Sausage Dog

A delightful addition to the growing pack of charming characters featuring on high quality homeware and gifts. This was a really popular newcomer this year. You can't help but smile when you see this collectible design appearing on fine bone china mugs and jugs to cushions, worktop savers, and doormats. It’s perfect for sausage dog lovers or anyone who loves dachshunds and dogs. 

Fluffy Dog

This one nearly didn't make it but we just managed to get the items in time. This one is going to be a hit in 2025 judging by the response in the few weeks it's been introduced to customers. Celebrate your love for fluffy dogs. Cute, minimalist, and thoughtfully designed, this cheerful character is a charming reminder of the curly-coated companions you love, from Cockapoos to Labradoodles to any fluffy dog friend.

Fun Fish

Dolphin

Created by Jin Designs to celebrate these playful, intelligent creatures, but also for what they symbolise - joy, connection and a lighthearted approach to life. Seeing a dolphin in the wild is such a rare delight, this collection brings a touch of that magic into your everyday life. 

Charity Donation

Together, we managed to raise a massive £1109.85 for Martlets Hospice with money raised through the sale of Blue Tit Collection.

And Finally

Thanks for reading this post. I’m hopeful that the economic situation will improve in 2025, and I’m determined to keep bringing you new designs and products. After 11 years, one tough year won’t stop me! Small business always comes with its challenges. It’s not always easy - but I’m not giving up.

I can't change 2024. But I can learn from it. And despite what the figures show, I have some wonderful customers and supportive people, like yourself, and I am so very grateful to you. Thank you for all your support.
