Care Guide - Jin Designs Doormats

Thank you for purchasing a Jin Designs Doormat. These washable indoor doormats are hardwearing, easy to care for and designed to be used for years to come. Follow this simple guide to keep your doormat looking its best.

Before use

For best results, wash the mat before use. This helps the fibres relax and settle into place, as well as preparing the mat for everyday use.

Don't worry if your doormat arrives with fold lines or creases. This can sometimes happen during storage and delivery and is perfectly normal. They are not permanent creases and should disappear after washing as the fibres relax and return to their original shape.

Washing your doormat

Jin Designs Doormats are machine washable up to 40°C using a mild detergent. After washing, lay the mat flat to dry naturally. Regular washing will help keep your doormat clean and fresh and maintain its ability to trap dirt and moisture.

Please note 

With PVC, linoleum flooring and oiled wooden flooring, discolouration can occur due to an interaction with rubber-backed mats.
