Show success at Home 2014
On 12th January 2014, Buyers from around the country and across the World gathered at Earls Court, London, for the biggest trade show of the year with Home and Top Drawer 2014. And for the first time, Jin Designs and the Collections were on display in front of these buyers. It was a daunting but exciting opportunity which took months of planning from Jin Designs but all came together for those 3 days in what proved to be a very successful and enjoyable show.
The products went down a storm with interest shown from independent shops to larger retailers to print and online publications.
Jinny was delighted with the response, commenting “It really was a marvellous event. I can’t believe the response to the designs. I’ve had great feedback, met buyers from all over the world and found new trade customers which is brilliant.”
So what better way for Jin Designs to start 2014 in finding new stockists as far and wide as Whitstable, Chiswick, Truro, Hebden Bridge, Stroud, London, Brighton and beyond. There may even be interest from a major UK retailer and possible opportunities in the US and Japan. News on this will follow.
Jinny went on to say “It has been a lot of hard work and a lot of preparation and I couldn’t have done it without the support of my friends and loved ones. I’d like to thank them for all their help before, during and after the show and for giving me the encouragement to go for it. I’m really glad I did!”
No time to rest now as Jin Designs steps up to another level and moves into an important phase in growing the business. There’s a long way to go and a lot of hard work to do but it’s all beginning to happen.
