A New Chapter: Jin Designs Relocates!
It’s done! The decision was made and I did it.
There's been some big changes these last couple of days for Jin Designs with a warehouse move from Essex…
…to Eastbourne.
If you didn’t know this already, I spent the first 3 years of my business journey picking and packing my orders until it got too much that I couldn't manage it. After searching the country, I found a really lovely family fulfilment business in Essex to help me.
And for 7 years we worked really well together. With a reliable, efficient team behind me, it allowed me the time to focus on other areas of the business - and grow. I will always be grateful to them for this. But sadly all good things come to an end and last year they made the decision to sell the business and retire.
After a few months of unsettled times, I’ve now found a new family business to work with who I know will take great care of my products and will treat my customers as their own.
I’ve been moving stock and getting organised in the new warehouse and new systems are now in place to allow for a smooth service of picking, packing and dispatching.
It’s a great new space. Modern and clean and I feel very happy that my products are there. I think this is going to work out well and be a weight off my mind.
It’s been a difficult few months trying to find a solution and make that decision to move. It’s not something to do lightly. It’s expensive and you don’t know if it will work out. But if you don’t make the decision, you’ll never know.
One of the things that’s hard when you run your own business is realising that you can’t do everything and sometimes you need help. Letting go is a big deal for me but I feel like I’m in safe hands and my orders - and most importantly, your orders, will be well looked after by the new team there.
So onwards and upwards. We are ready for your orders now. It’s business as usual!
